Mosolyogj a lufiddal!

Emlékeztek még, amikor mobil nélkül is könnyen elértük egymást, amikor hiper-szuper technikai kütyük nélkül is órákig elvoltunk a barátainkkal, és az internet fogalmát még hírből sem ismertük? Akkor még értékeltük az élet legapróbb örömeit is, a reggeli rohanásban a napsütés erejét, a dugóban araszolva a város szépségét, és a változó természet gyönyörű színeit. De mit tehetnénk, ha rohanó hétköznapok között újra egy kis vidámságot szeretnénk becsempészni az életünkbe? Nincs más dolgunk, mint egy picit visszamenni a gyerekkorba, majd mosolyt az arcra, lufit a kézbe és fotózásra fel!

Az alábbi poszt aktualitása a londoni művész, IMPREINT legújabb projektje, akiről még év elején olvashattatok itt a blogon. Bár még nem volt szerencsém személyesen is találkozni vele, alkotásai, és művészetének célja egyszerűen lenyűgöz. Szeretem benne, hogy nem csupán alkot, de koncepcióiba bevonja magát az embert is, úgy testileg, mint lelkileg. Fotói így valódi érzelmi kapcsolatot teremtenek művész, alkotás és befogadó között.

A művészt a fotók elkészítésben saját Balloons című festménysorozata inspirálta, mert miközben festette őket arra gondolt, hogy mindegyik lufi különböző, és bár egyik sem tökéletes, de számára mind gyönyörű, pont olyanok, mint az emberek. Innen jött számára az ihlet, hogy összekötné az embereket a világ körül egy lufival, és így kelt útjára a PORTRAITS.

Ez a különleges projekt még 2013. december 16-án indult és egy évig tart. Lényege, hogy az emberek küldhetnek magukról egy fotót, amin egy lufit tartanak. IMPREINT azért hívja portrénak, mert a lufit tartva mindenki megváltozik kicsit, és így az már nem csak egy sima fénykép az illetőről, hanem egy elbeszélő portré. A képeket emailben lehet elküldeni, vagy a hivatalos facebook oldalára feltölteni, ahol már jó pár kép található, többek közt Japánból, Algériából, Franciaországból.

Így nem kis megtiszteltetésnek éreztem, amikor a Portraits projekt kapcsán felkértek, hogy én készítsem el a budapesti lufis fotót. Imádom Budapestet, különösen a reggeli órákban, szeretem érezni a gőzölgő kávé illatát, elnézni az ébredező várost, hallgatni a munkába siető emberek zaját, a csillogó tekintetű gyerekek zsivaját, a metrón ülő fáradt tekintetek között elcsípni egy-egy kósza kis mosolyt, és fürdőzni a felkelő napsugarak fényeiben a Lánchíd felett…

Nem volt kérdés, hogy modellemet, kezében a hatalmas piros lufival a város melyik pontjára is fogom kivinni. Számomra Budapest egyik legszebb és legkarakteresebb pontja mindig is a Széchenyi lánchíd volt, amely szerintem fővárosunk egyik legismertebb jelképe. A helyszín adott volt, a lufi felfújva, az úriember leszervezve, már csak egy jól sikerült kattintás és máris megszületett a PORTRÉ-Budapest.

Nagyon boldog vagyok, hogy egy pillanatnyi kép erejéig én is részese lehetek IMPREINT alkotásának, melynek számtalan, színes egyénisége van, de csupán egyetlen közös pontja, a LUFI.

Portraits by IMPREINT

Ha Te is szeretnél csatlakozni a Portré projekthez, akkor nincs más dolgod, mint fogsz egy lufit és megragadod a pillanatot. A cél nem más, mint mosolyt csalni saját és mások arcára, megfűszerezve egy csipet pozitív életérzéssel.

És ne feledd! A léggömb csupán egy eszköz, hogy Te is részese légy egy fantasztikus élménynek, mert bár minden lufi egyforma, egyedülálló személyiségeddel a kis piros ballont saját egyéniséggel ruházhatod fel… és miért ne tennéd? Mosolyra fel!

Good morning BUDAPEST!

Do you remember the time when we were able to reach other without any difficulties although not having mobile phones, or when we could chat with our friends for hours without using any super-duper technical gadgets at a time when the concept of the Internet was not even known? In those times we could appreciate the small joys of life, being able to enjoy the sunshine in the morning rush, to discover the beauties of the city while inching in the traffic jam or simply admiring the amazing colors of nature. What is to be done, if one would want to sneak back a bit of fun into our busy everyday life? There is nothing else to be done, than to take a glance at our childhood, put up a smile on your face, take a balloon and a camera in your hands and let the adventure begin!

The timeless meaning of this post is linked to the new project of the artist from London named IMPREINT, from who you could have read earlier this year on this blog. Although I did not yet have the chance to meet him personally, I am simply amazed by his creations and by the purpose of his art. What I personally love at his work is that he does not simply create forms, but one can get both physically and spiritually involved in the whole concept of his art. I truly believe that his photos create a true emotional link between the artist, the portrait and the recipient.

The portraits have been inspired by the artist’s own series of paintings called balloons. While painting the portraits, the artist thought that in spite of the fact that every balloon is different from the other and none of them is perfect, all balloons are equally beautiful just like people. From here he came with the inspiration to connect the people around the world with one huge balloon and that is how PORTRAITS have started their path.

The project started in December 16, 2013 and will last for one year. The essence of the programme is that people can send a photo (portrait) about themselves while holding a balloon. IMPREINT calls such photos portraits because he thinks that when holding a balloon everyone changes a bit, so in that particular moment we are no longer dealing with a regular photo about a certain person, but more with narrative portrait of that particular person. Photos of persons holding a balloon can be sent via email or simply downloaded on his official Facebook page, where there are already quite a few photos, including among others even photos sent from Japan, Algeria, and France.

So I felt really honored when I was asked to prepare my balloon photo from Budapest in relation to the PORTRAITS project. I love Budapest, especially in the morning when one can feel the smelling the flavors of the steaming coffee, or look over the awakening city, listen to the people’s noise hurrying to work as well as to the shining-eyed children’s uproar, catching a vague little smile among tired gazes while sitting on the subway and bathing in light of the rising sun over the Chain Bridge.

So there was no question to which point of the city will I take out my model holding a huge red balloon. To me, one of the finest and most distinctive places of Budapest has always been the Széchenyi Chain Bridge, which I believe is one of the best known symbols of our capital. Since the place was given, the balloon inflated, appointment with the gentleman settled, a click on the camera and the portrait from Budapest-Portrait was ready.

I am very happy that for at least one moment I could be a part of IMPREINT‘s creation, built up from a myriad of colorful personalities having one point in common, the BALLOON.

If you want to be part of the Portraits project yourself, the only thing you need to do is to take a balloon and seize the moment. The aim is not more than to invoke yours and other people’s smile spiced with a pinch of positive outlook.

And do not forget! The balloon is merely a tool so that you can be part of this fantastic experience, because though apparently all balloons may look the same, each small red balloon can be endowed with your own personality …and why not doing so? So keep up smiling!
